Inside the product

Built around the work your team does every day

Pharmacy sales counter

Bill a prescription in seconds, from the right batch

The counter screen is made for speed. Search a medicine or scan the prescription QR code, add it to the cart and print the invoice.

  • Search by medicine name, manufacturer or formula
  • Batch number, expiry date and stock shown on every item
  • Shelf location on each line, so the item is found quickly
  • GST applied automatically at the rate you set
IPD wards & beds

See every bed in every ward at a glance

Create wards with their own daily rate, add beds, and watch each one move from available to occupied to cleaning and back.

  • Visual bed matrix for each ward with live availability
  • Admit a patient to a bed directly from their record
  • Two-step discharge: requested first, then approved for invoicing
  • Full admission and discharge history
Patient records

One patient, one complete history

Open a patient and see everything in one place, so nobody has to ask the same questions twice.

  • Appointments and visits, prescriptions and billing history
  • Attachments for reports and scans
  • Find anyone by name, patient ID or phone number
  • Add your own custom fields to the patient form
Purchase entry

Turn a supplier bill into stock without typing every line

The AI-assisted import reads a supplier bill into line items. You review and correct each row before anything reaches your inventory.

  • Ready-made ChatGPT prompt built into the screen
  • Review table to check batch, expiry, quantity and rate
  • Manual entry and row-by-row editing whenever you need it
  • Purchase history for every supplier bill

How it fits together

One patient journey, no re-typing between departments

  1. 1

    Register

Reception adds the patient once. Name, ID or phone finds them on every later visit.

  2. 2

    Consult

The patient is checked in, appears in the live waiting room and the doctor starts the consult.

  3. 3

    Dispense

The pharmacist scans the prescription QR or searches by name, and bills from the right batch.

  4. 4

    Admit

If needed, the patient is admitted to a bed straight from their record.

  5. 5

    Bill & discharge

Discharge is requested, approved, and the invoice is raised and downloaded as PDF.

Control & data safety

You decide who sees what, and your data stays yours

Hospital data is sensitive. Access, backups and network rules are in the administrator's hands from the settings screen.

Role-based access

Doctor, staff, pharmacist and receptionist each see only the modules you tick for them.

Daily automatic backups

Password-protected ZIP archives, downloadable or emailed to an address you choose.

Activity log

Check-ins, logins and other actions are recorded with user and time.

Encrypted data in transit

Requests between the screen and the server are encrypted end to end.

Network IP whitelist

Optionally allow access only from your hospital's own network addresses.

Your server, if you want it

Install on-premise and patient data stays inside your building.

Deployment

On the cloud or on your own server

The same product either way. Choose what suits your hospital's internet, hardware and budget.

Cloud hosted

Open it from any device with a browser. We help set up the hosting and domain, and take care of updates and backups.

  • No server to maintain on site
  • Access from multiple locations
  • Monthly subscription or one-time setup with AMC

On-premise

Installed on a computer or server inside your hospital and used over your local network. Works without an internet connection.

  • Patient data stays in your building
  • Runs on your LAN, even when the internet is down
  • Monthly licence or one-time purchase with AMC
Questions

What hospitals ask us first

Is AegisRx only for the pharmacy, or for the whole hospital?

Both. It covers the hospital side (patients, appointments, IPD beds, billing) and the pharmacy side (sales counter, inventory, purchases, supplier returns), plus staff attendance and leave. You control which roles see which modules.

Can it run without internet?

Yes. The on-premise option is installed on a server inside your hospital and works over your local network. A cloud-hosted option is also available if you prefer not to manage hardware.

How does it handle expiry dates and batches?

Every medicine is stored with its batch number, expiry date and shelf location. The sales counter shows batch and expiry for each item, the dashboard lists low-stock items against a threshold you set, and expired or damaged stock can be returned to the supplier with a refund record.

How do purchase bills get into the system?

You can enter them by hand, or use the AI-assisted import: the system gives you a ready prompt for ChatGPT, you paste the result back, and every line appears in a review table for you to check and correct before it is saved to stock.

Is it set up for GST billing?

Yes. You set default GST rates for hospital billing and for pharmacy sales, and your pharmacy name, drug licence number, GSTIN and address are printed on invoices. Invoices download as PDF.

What happens to our data if a computer fails?

The system takes automatic daily backups as password-protected ZIP archives. You can download them or have them emailed to an address you choose, and trigger a backup manually at any time.
